Let's Talk Poem by Ima Ryma

Let's Talk

Rating: 4.3

An old fox and a young girl met
In the woods on a snowy day.
The young girl did not feel a threat,
And listened while the fox did say,
'You are a brave young girl to be'
'Out in these woods and all alone.'
'I live nearby, ' did reply she.
The fox then asked in polite tone,
'Will you agree to be my friend, '
'And call on me when you come by? '
'Some quality time we can spend.'
'Sounds good, ' was the young girl's reply.

This pact the fox and girl did make
With an old paw and young hand shake.
