Lies And Darkness Poem by T.James Becker

Lies And Darkness

Rating: 5.0

Dark as midnight, shallow and pale
Trusting her smiles will send you to hell
Cold is her shadow, frozen her heart
Her fake identity will never depart

Words of endearment they never end
Sweetheart and I love you over an over again
But listen closely they carry no mass
Hugs and kisses they shatter like glass

Numbing lies of the worst kind,
Mess with your heart screw with your mind
Mother of deception the likes of no other
They spill from her mouth one after another

Evicted from my life, locked out of my heart
Never again will any friendships start
However, no matter what you think of me
Sweeping out my heart of your lying debris

Sun is shinning your dark cloud is gone
I made a mistake and was seriously wrong
Never again will you darken my door
You are no longer welcome your words I ignore
