Life Poem by Alicia Meyers

Life

Like a river,
Without the current,
Like an ocean,
Without the waves.
...
Like the darkness sky,
Without the shiny stars,
Like the early morning,
Without the beaming sun.

Like the snow,
Without the coldness,
Like the summer,
Without the warmth.

In different descriptions,
Wild life or life,
Is how this is,
And it's sometimes wonderful.

Flowing like a river,
Down a heavy stream,
Just a flower,
Heading for the crazy scene.

The waterfall,
But the flower won't make it,
Unless the water,
Will be calm.

As the flower flows down the fall,
It survived,
And it goes towards the ocean,
Where the waves carry the flower.

Beautiful life,
In this outer world,
We all agree,
That some parts in life are and aren't pretty.
