Life Poem by Dislocated Heart

my life here is at stake.
i have taken things for granted..
thinking it will last..
but when i hit the first bump in the road,
i seem to be turnin the other way.

if i lost you,
i wouldnt know what to do.
if i couldnt hold you..
i rather be alone forever.
if i couldnt kiss those lips of yours..
i rather not kiss at all.
if we were to fall apart right now..
i wish we could pick up the pieces.

my life is completly meaningless.
without you by myside.

when i finally realized..
am i too late?
honey.. am i?

my life is hanging by this string..
it unravels
as you walk away..
