Life Is Race - Poem by Brittney Pennington

We run all day
we run out of breath
we sometimes get lost
and lose are hope
we sometimes forget why where running
we fall to the ground
with tears in are eyes
but what we must remember
to get back up with our sprained hearts
and continue to move forward
even when we are tried and beaten
