Life's False Deity Poem by Shaun Cronick

Life's False Deity

Cry me a river,
Or weep many streams.
Hide in your nightmares,
Never visit my dreams.

You are what you are,
Life's false deity.
Who yearns to crush,
A mind's creativity.

I think we poets have all been there Shaun...I really like you metaphor, ' Life's false deity'. It's a troubled but ever resilient ten from me!
