Life, Time, All Of It - Poem by Marthe Claude

A crystal of blue was the sky
A song of harmony was the brid's song
A smile everlasting was the girl's own
A meaning undefined was the boy's own
A bond stronger than iron was theirs

Time travels faster than any
Time moves slower than any
Time shows details uneeded
Time confuses the benign
Time becomes ungermane

Hatred becomes furtive
Hatred becomes the bulwark of life
Hatred becomes monolithic to minds
Hatred becomes more malignant and petulant
Hatred becomes stalwart and deftly
Hatred diffused

Love dissembling
Love wanning
Love obscured

A pool of dreams is the sky
A song of dread is the birds own
A smile monotnous the girl's own
A meaning subjugated is the boy's own
A bond a shatter edifice their own
