Walk high above on the clouds
Watch the shadow on the ground
Souls of animates and inanimates
Come out as shadows from captivity inside
Prostrates themselves down on the earth
Revere the luminaries blessed them out
Dark stout shadows lack beauty
Grim cold sorrows lack gaiety
Enjoy roaming in the vast blue sky
stepping from one cloud to the other
Stoop and put the hands down
Catch a shadow for a companion
Climb up the ladder of lightning
Where the blue ceiling opens to a sea
The opening closes by itself and be there
A shadow won't feel suffocated under the sea
Rise up to the top of the sea
It may take births to reach the surface
The glory of a new sun will welcome
From a new solar system, so comfortable
Rise up to the top of the sea! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
'Rise up to the top of the sea It may take births to reach the surface'................. The rise may be slow, but the effort is what matters. Without continuous effort, nothing can be gained. A beautifully composed meaningful poem.
Thank you Smt. Valsa George. The merger of Jeevatma with the Paramatma is not so easy. It needs a lot of efforts throughout several births together
Light and shadow have important play in life. Both are complimentary. You have inscribed astutely about shadow. and escape. Beautiful poem.
Thank you Kumaramaniji. As you said, shadow cannot be seperated like the soul
