Light Of Great Hearts Poem by Neela Nath Das

Light Of Great Hearts

Rating: 5.0

The shadow of the
dark alleys of a mind,
the gibberish of a
creature of queer denizen
try to blind me, tie
me to its incoherent speech.
I bleed, I cry, I leave
my comfort zone.
But, in my dream the
soothing faces come back;
They holding my hand show me
the way to Light Of Poetry.
Strolling back, when I see
the world I left is awaiting
me with wreath of warm love,
I burst into tear of joy!
From the deep sense of newly-
awaken hope, I utter then- - - - - - - -
One can snap oneself out of
the den of despair,
because of the light
of great hearts.

Lovely expression. It is true in our time of despair many great hearts are there to support us. Your poem makes me to be thankful for them.

Mmmm The light of great hearts! Loving compassion for all. Kind words help to bear each other's burdens. The kindness and friendship of others elevates us, no doubt. Thanks for your wonderful verses, they sure light up my life! Namaste
