Limerick.41. Confusion

Rating: 5.0

To the young and handsome prince
Was born a pair of fraternal twins
All through the bleak night
In deep thoughts he sat
Confused who fathered one of the twins

Another amazingly humorous limerick. Very clever write. A wonderful entertainment especially at this time when the Coronary virus is at its peak spreading darkness to humanity.

The word I did not know was 'fraternal'. Now I know. Prince expected identical twins, but they were fraternal twins. Confusion is understandable. But suspicious nature is unbecoming of a Prince.Lovely limerick!
