Well there ought to be a better way
For starting each and every day
Than arising early
and showering, surely...
Let those soddy bodies lay.
Who's the babe? ? ? ! ! surely you didn't mean: " Noun 1. Soddy - a house built of sod or adobe laid in horizontal coursessoddy - a house built of sod or adobe laid in horizontal courses" oops! it is a NOUN. it must be a Canadian slang word. maybe: " adj.: Slightly damp and laying on the ground (derivation of sod) " You sleep on the ground, Wes? " lay" or " lie" . you know WHY i ask! ok. poetic license. bri :)
the babe is my Donna but she doesn't like poems or poets soddy is used here as an adjective.. in quite common use here
