He earnestly pled his case with the wizened old judge.

"Oh, but Judge... you just don't know my ways.
It's my quickness that earns the most praise."
"You'll have patience, I trust,
But now we will just...
See how fast you can do thirty days."

Wow, It reminded me a joke, when this speeding person is brought before the judge he pleaded saying, I was rushing to my home b'coz my wife called and said she is going to her mother's house for a month and I somehow wanted to pack her belongings before she could change her mind.
