Little whims we always care,
We hold on to our hearts;
But many things we know brittle,
We let them slip out of hands!
Lot of kinks we should let go
We tell ourselves to hold
What’s kicking inside? Ego;
End up beaten down, ten fold!
emblem of soul, reminded of the poem you talk....so joyous to be reminded of what has been taken for granted...lost for nothing and what else you pay...so powerful line of words, settle in every conscience of man...thank you for sharing...a 10 +++
I think the first two lines are beautiful and memorable and the whole thing is just well done. Thanks friend.
Nobody is perfect Kesav. You are a great philosopher within a small poem structure. Well done! ~ love Karin
if we accept and forgive our small imperfections, we can see how much more beautiful we are.....
Penny wise and Pound foolish - you propound so well, Ego a small word but causes even catastrophes in life. A wise poem to be heeded well in life as well. Short and crisp you serve Truth well.Angel
GREAT THOUGHTS AND ADVICE IN VERSE! WE WANT OTHERS TO CHANGE! BUT ALL SUCH CHANGES SHOULD BEGIN WITH US! 10 + -Raj
A very introspective one, deep ideas in few words. Agree with Sonya on this point. Perfect flow and rhythm as always, Kesav.Thanks for sharing with us. Yelena M.
A one go read, for its smoothness, with sour ego, we are so bound to it.10
