Living On Dreams Poem by Paula Glynn

Hard as it is, I live on my dreams,
I follow my heart and try my best,
I haven't made a break yet,
But I am close to home,
I just want to hit the big time,
And leave this small town,
With music and films,
A life waiting for me,
And I shall do my best,
Working harder than the rest.

I love watching films,
And would love to be the star,
To achieve big dreams,
And grace magazine covers,
And popularity would be mine,
I'd star on TV and would always be seen,
Like those old Hollywood stars,
That are ageless on the big screen.

My heart lies in singing and acting,
And I know I can do it,
I have everything to live for,
To strive for and achieve,
For this is my life, my time,
And I shall be treasured always,
My name never to be forgotten,
Because I lived on dreams,
That did come true.
