Loaf Poem by David Darbyshire

Loaf

Rating: 5.0

Everyone looks at a
loaf of bread differently
One Thing it is!
it's important to you and me.

If your a Baker,
you'll know at lot about Bread.
If your an electrician
you like your toast instead

It's said if you are a Banker
you count every slice,
when your a Hindu
you feed it to the mice

Bread can be baked
long and low
it seems you can get it
everwhere you go

There is one thing I know,
'with all these hungry mouths',
if everyone got a slice.
The Banker could go home.
