Rating: 5.0

Four cars come to a four-way stop
At the very same time.
Not present is a traffic cop
(Thank goodness there's no crime.)

They can't decide who should go first,
So they all start at once!
You might expect that someone cursed;
I'd say each one's a dunce!

Lo and behold, there was no crash,
Though all four cars did go!
If you are feeling bold and brash,
Then tell me how it's so.

Judith must have deleted her comment, but this one is rather simple. The reason there was no crash is that all four of the drivers made right turns!

Judith got it. Your picture looked like a roundabout, but you don't necessarily stop at those.

When I go to 'Manage Comments' I see a comment from Judith Blatherwick on this poem, but when I come here to reply to the comment, it isn't here! At least I'm not seeing it. It has to be here, but it's invisible to me.
