Loneliness Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

Loneliness is that feeling inside,
It longs for the company of others,
To share a laugh or two.
For a hand to hold when needed most,
For a shoulder to cry on when all is lost.
Loneliness is like a dark empty room,
A miserable place filled with doom and gloom,
Loneliness is like a moon without its stars,
Like a tree without leaves,
Like a child without a ma or pa.
We all need that someone,
Just to say,
I'm here for you always,
Come what may.
