Lonely - Poem by Aasim Sakharkar

Its freezing out here, I have cold feet
Walking down an unknown street
Sitting by the empty sidewalk
all by myself, I begin to talk
My pastime is kicking empty soda cans
Or drafting undulating future plans
meanwhile I visit my memory town
Felt like, time slowed down
With nothing to cherish, my will weakens
I Look at the sky, it darkens
Further on the road I tread along
whistling a popular song
somebody singing along is less likely
I guess, I am destined to be 'lonely'
