Lonely Feelings

Lonely feelings wrapped like ribbons around this heart
and mind, an intense feeling of sorrow, wanting to be
held.
Touching emotions lying around inside this empty being,
shaking in the night when crying, not understanding why
death won't let us be together, when that's all we want
in this world on either side of life.
