Long-Lived Passion Poem by Sandra Feldman

Long-Lived Passion

Rating: 2.0

Why do I love them so?
Literary writings,
Passion, my soul,
World where
I need to go,
To feel at ease
Participate,
Open wide,
Imagination's gate.
My endless love for you has been,
A saving grace,
A wish to win,
A better World,
Pink white and pearled,
A song of songs,
Of Fantasy,
Where dreams don't end
And love is free,
To have and hold
Eternally.

This is so wonderful, Sandra. I needed to hear this paen to literature. Isn't reading great writing a form of prayer! Dont we grow in imagination (which is the soul's truth) when we read in a contemplative, reverant mind frame?
