Look through

I look through my eyes
and stare at your try
that speaks only lies
and belies my expectation

have I to revel?
in earnestness and speak all
I feel disgusted at an attempt
that you are prompted

You can't cheat me
and still, feel free
at vain attempt
that speaks of the treacherous act

You are no gentleman
apart from being a good human
You are speaking to a woman
who has always trusted you as a man

I shall go beyond
and remain fond
but not at the cruel attempt
to ditch me with a dishonest act
