Pessimism.
Is real,
It's part of life
Because,
We see, we hear,
We love, we strife
And understand
The sadness,
And futility
Of what is life.
Where,
Down the road,
All that now stands
On a gray stone
Will find its hands,
Will find some words,
That only some
Will understand
While Time
Just kills,
Even the ones
Who loved so much,
So sad this life,
So out of touch.
A beautiful poem so well expressed and rightly said. Full of emotions. To my favorites.
Our lack of hope or confidence are mostly attributed to circumstances that we witnessed in our life's journey.
Deeply poignant but so true. A lot of us could relate to what is conveyed in this meaningful poem.
This truly heart-felt poem so well expresses the sentiment of so many people today. We poets are very fortunate to have a creative outlet to express pessimism. And through our poetry, we shall find the courage to go beyond!
Thank you, Jayne, for reading and for your very encouraging comment.
