Lost Love Poem by Jessica Elizondo

She wakes up,
and the smile dissapears.
She looks at his picture,
and a tear hits the glass.

'Why did he have to go?
Why did he take my heart,
and rip it to shreds?
After all that we've been through.'

She goes throughout
the day and without
his hand in hers
She feels all alone.

She goes to her locker
and he's no longer there.
She holds back her tears
and walks to class.

When she sees their friends
She reminded of all the
good memories and and times
they once shared together.

But his heart
belongs to another.
And she is lucky,
he hasn't broken her heart.
