Love Note 80 - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Fast approaching evening my lady
and I'm hoping your day
was bright and happy.
Remembering and thinking of
my loving smile,
I hope it filled you with
warmth, comfort, and peace,
feeling me there with you
holding you close.
I thought of you and
your great big beautiful smile,
it filled me with light
giving me a big smile as well.
You my sweet lady are the
Angel who makes the world turn.

Yet my heart aches so bad
twisting around in sad pain,
I miss you so much and
long for you to be here.
I just wish we could talk
and clear the air,
then just catch up with
each other finding out how
we are and where we've been.
Our many adventures and happenings
no matter how exciting or dull.
Once again hearing our voices
losing track of time,
laughing and exploring
various things we would stumble upon.
I miss you so much
my sweet Angel dove and
it hurts so much you not being here.

I'll be thinking of you
this evening as I try to
keep myself busy.
Once again with movies and
tedious tasks,
also some reading I
have gotten behind and
want to do that.
I'll be wishing and longing
for you to be here
sitting with me as I
go about doing these various things.
Just having you around
is a blessing I want and need,
you bring such joy with
your big heart and loving spirit.
Please come back soon
my sweet love and we'll hold
each other never letting go
in endless joy taking strength from our bond.

I love you deeply and
I feel so empty
it's painful not having
you here at my side my
treasured precious Angel.
You are the one I want to
give my whole life and all of my love,
for you are my lady that I've
loved for 16 years since
I was 15.
I know you're my soul mate
and I love you so dearly,
Kira you are my lady and
Angel who completes me.
