Love Song Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Love Song

Rating: 5.0

Spirited in my own shadow
Soul braced against a brick wall
A collective symphony of musical
Sonnata's
Echo and reverberate your
Sweet call
Transported in subtle ecstacy
An open gate to Eden invites
Uncovered now all of the veils
Of ebon that blanketed the night
Melodic harmonies
Fragrance of lavender air
Blow's softly 'cross your gentle face
Exuberance and sheer rapture
Exudes the fire of long overdo embrace
Long overdo we so inspire ourselves
And dictate the keys of our care
Subtle yet tangible feelings
Tingle us into moments of aware
Hold me forever in your loving arms
And caress my heart with your song
Be gentle upon my moisted longing
Skin
Come hither beloved
As with me
'Tis where you belong
