Love Through A Broken Mirror Poem by Lodigiana Poetess

Love Through A Broken Mirror

Rating: 4.8

A memory unrecalledanddim to dark,
a passing thought of forgotten laughter.
Sublime recall of nothingof consequence
and no special songto hold onto……
Is that how you remember me?

Awakened by a kiss so light it soothes my dreams…
Long walks through golden fields of waving corn.
The smell of your skin, hair and presence.
How my heart would beat clear out of my chest when you were there
That's how I remember you

Lodigiana a beautifully penned poem of love's highlight and shadow. Love is happy or sad. Love nurtures or kills. It's said nothing lasts forever, a phrase I don't believe in, for a good poem and love are both eternal. And your poem is more than good a gem to read however bittersweet. Five heart broken stars which a only new love can repair. Take care and kudos to you for expressing and sharing. Shaun.x.

The poem, the graphic and the 'Poet's Notes'- all touched me as all are so very expressive! 'How my heart would beat clear out of my chest when you were there' - so wonderfully penned!
