You make me feel as if I could really touch the sky
Slowly spread my wings and I began to fly
And no matter how much I tried I always got
The same reply Richie it's do or die
We'll Never say goodbye keep soaring high

You were the one that taught me to always
Reach for the stars Don't be afraid to be who
You are It's You that has done so much for me
I don't think you truly see or realize how much
Of a gem that you came to be I'm not always
Good at these things as I try to express
My true feelings I explode with so many emotions
They're part of me but if it gets you to truly
See or believe what a part you play in my life
Then I'll yell it twice never having to revise
I'm not telling lies even if people want to
Criticize half of the world is not even civilize
There's nothing I wouldn't ever do
Hoping that every word gets through
If you only knew or caught a clue

That i'm a part of you and you are a part of me too
lovers or friends lose or win my first or second
Wind hint hint so does that mean memories are
Sentimental I look straight into your eyes like
I've done a million times how would I have known
That you would sit and try then deny that you don't
Feel a thing or anything in between Oh girl you
Know that's a lie sometimes I just sit and ponder
Why under velvet skies I watch doves as they
Fly as stars lights up your face yet you say that
Love can't buy your happiness have I not given

My constant best and nothing less of perfection
You say ' That you're an hot mess' then I say'
You are like the perfect storm combined with
Chemicals ' and that's when you said I'm an imbecile
To let you slip away girl you take my breath away
I'll never give you up not even for a day you've
Crawled up my DNA You're my love and I'm your
Hate twisted by our fate but together we make
Up faith, you're my Pompeii I'm your clay
So tell me that you will forever stay.
