I love you
Not for what
You're striving to be
Or for what
I'd like you to be
But for who you are
I love every thing about you
Not only your awesome smiles
That brighten even my worst days
But your frowns that admonish
I wasn't funny enough
I love not only your laughter
That calls to mind how good it is
To be alive and so in love
But also, your crying
For it cautions me
That love sometimes hurts
To accept the pain
Work through the sorrow
Better tomorrow

This is the best and purest way to love. To be able to accept smiles and frowns with equanimity.
