Mailbox Poem by Lamar Cole

Mailbox

Rating: 3.7

He was mailing a letter when he began feeling like a snook.
Because in the mailbox he had dropped his checkbook.
He became so frantic.
And the situation put him into panic.
The post office wouldn't open until the next day.
He stayed up all-night because sleep was impossible anyway.

A somewhat funny, somewhat serious poem about an unfortunate soul. In his case, we hope that the postal employees are all honest. Because not all are. An interesting poem, Lamar!

A panic and economically fatal situation, Succinctly, realistically and magnificently portrayed. Reaching the reader, perfectly.
