Mama's... Garden Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Mama's... Garden

In this late spring hum
.....When days flow into night- -
When the clearing breeze-billows thru the tree's
...And our galaxy supplies the light- -

It's a fondest time for me to recall
.....As a once "horticulturist' to be
Moments spent with mama in her floral garden- -
...Pampering her delicate, dainty, daisy- -

So many blooms were in full joy- -
.....Their fragrance gave them away- -
The Lilac's & the Jasmine were most obvious
...In her garden where springtime bird's would play- -

Mama's garden was a true paradise- -
.....Once there it was hard to leave- -
Taken in by such beauty was 'awe' inspiring- -
...A most glorious gift to receive! !

.In her garden where springtime bird's would play- - - a beautiful setting for your mother, tending to her flowers while springtime birds sing- -what a lovely remembrance for her sweet daughter
