Man's Best Friend - Poem by David Beckham
Kathy and I moved in together recently
I have a dog, Bingo, and we all get along just nicely
Since we started dating
Our relationship has had all the perks and no faking
If I called, literally, one ring was all it took and she got on the phone
And you could hear the joy in her voice and she didn't moan
When I text or emailed her
Like clock work, she returned my text much sooner than later
But lately, everything seem to have taken a bad turn
She moved out, can't tell you why
I sent her a text and email, and I got nothing in return
I called and left her a voice mail and she did not return my call, O - my!
Surprise, surprise, today I got a text from cupid
She is broke and she needs some money
I guess my new name must be 'Cony'
I might be dumb, but I'm not that stupid
I am back to being with my dog and alone
I called out to Bingo, and he never groans
I asked him to get the mail and he obeys
A dog really, is a mans best friend...Olay! ! !
