Yes I live with a Bukowskian like character I understand. His poetry is a flame that lights my inner land. Fortunately he stopped drinking many moons ago. so................ We can love the writers poetic soul though his life style may not appeal. I am reminded of Henry Miller . Good evaluation Richard. Concise so much said with so little words, I love it

Charles Bukowski as metaphor! I can't help but think there are more than a few people on earth who can say, I married a Charles Bukowski! Great work, Richard.
