Material Wound And Spiritual Ointment Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Material growth and inventions give comfort,
But still we say that we are searching for joy,
We are searching for love and peace every day,
Then you say where has real happiness gone?

Reality has gone far and love has incarnated,
Still everyday see vices like anger and greed,
People fight and conflict in workplace we see,
We see many in sorrowful conditions, it is true.

Threatening and terror have not left humanity,
Danger at each moment threatens life in Earth,
Rude talking, cheating, and torturing give pain,
Wounds are many due to vices exist in mind.

Unspoken wounds are not healed yet in day,
Night is slept in crying is counselled in love,
We need spiritual ointment to heal ill mind,
This also heals body and empowers living.

Gaining excellence in life we motivate mind,
Spirituality gives us soon soul consciousness.
Values are like pills that heal mind sharply,
Material wound is healed by spiritual ointment.
