Maze Poem by Walterrean Salley

Maze

Rating: 5.0

Bright sunny skies
Turned to grey.

A promising future
Seems e'er to sway.

Curves and bends
And one-way streets.

Hopes dashed
As bitter gulps sweet.

The twists and turns
Of babbling brooks.

Dead-end roads.
Crannies and nooks.

What is life but a maze.
