Melancholy? Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Melancholy?

Melancholy?

Melancholy
what should that be?
Honey or the sting of the bee?

both not correct

Mr. Google is playing well
and kindly informed me:
"yourself, honey"

afterwards.......
he beat me up
and said to me:
"Your feeling of pensive sadness"
I was shocked
kept my mouth locked

but I am who I am
Sylvie, she's not gonna shut up

I am not a feminist
no terrorist or
any other words ending in "ist"

but honesty prevails
on these rails
from my braintrain

exactly! That surprised me
but the cause is crystal clear:
"an air of melancholy surrounded her" here

but did that mean me?

it's "her" not "I"

despite constant trying from me
to chase away melancholy,

I'm very sorry,
he is not right
because I was looking for that "air" deeply
but unfortunately,
not found

I lost the "air"
not yet found,
I've tried
and I tried
not yet found
this is notmelancholy bound

Mr. Google is not always right,
too many words,
no light
all night

I am relieved
I remained myself
I hit him back
blue and black

but no trace of that "air"
that air of melancholy,
didn't surround me
but him
to the brim!
