Memorable Reflections Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Hazy, crazy day followed by a night of the same, thinking
about the future, having waylaid it's meaning and definition
on sidelines somewhere.

In the factors and aspects of a timely moment that'll never
again come into being, leaving memorable reflections lying
beneath waves of what used to be.

Now letting go so what's left can be recognized in shadows
of jealously, ending in death of a harmony, a quiet whisper-
ed sentence that holds meanings of humanities essence.

Those little, yet very important words need to always be
said from the eternity of the heart, for the words, "I
love you" spill out so unexpectedly, needing to be said
in order to protect the innocence of a poetical being.
