Memory Poem by Obinna Kenechukwu Eruchie

Memory

Goes back to the past
In psyche wandered,
To relieve fragments
Of joy faced before
Set them together
To call up love had
Once for the blue moon
Way up on that time.
Love whose smile did bloom
As the flower sprouted
To life by bright Spring,
Which offered glee
Of much atonement.
Now happiness felt
Has turned to sadness
As fragments of joy
Falls apart to dust
By fragments of loss
Of Love that surfaced.
Heartbreaking the pain
Is, but decides to
Move on without Love
To be with healed mind
Once again always,
Live with the present
To the bright future.
