Men Of Motley Poem by Kateryna Polishchuk

Men Of Motley

Rating: 5.0

Somebody lives in make-up rooms,
They have two faces, mind of loons.
Their eyes are cried, smiles are dead.
In hands they close all soul`s dread.
They though they`re perfect but alone,
Their words are broken cold stone.
They see the light but don`t believe
In ways of poetry they live.
They write a message to your heart
To show the play of their part,
To use the words they`ve ever known
But don`t see pathway they have gone.
They are all jesters of the life,
Inside they keep a dreadful knife.
They try to see how angels fly
But cannot speak and closed cry
In their mind, just searching friend
They want exist but reach the end.
They shout us with a silent voice,
And write about our choice…
They`re full of loneliness and pain,
They think they know what goal is main.
But I can see their eyes are blind
They are all ill with power mind.
They write you`re wrong and don`t know rule
They want be friends but are so cruel…
They teach you live but are so dead,
They are so fun and sometimes mad.
I understand they want to help,
But their hearts are full of kelp…
I am afraid of their tears
They show the tomfool`s horror fears,
I want to help them but don`t know
What should I do… in darkness glow…
About angels and so on….
But their hearts are still the stone…

Dear friends, write with your hearts and souls and don`t mind the rules of writing. You show everybody your own world, your own inner beauty. And nobody should tell it is wrong. There are lots of people who will not understand your way of thinking. But there are the ones for whom your lines will became a source of inspiration.

I can see the pain of the protagonist in the poem and I feel that is some antagonist in his/her life. However, some of us feel that we know everything and we are born right. But it false impression and they live in utopian land they always criticize others But my suggestion is why should we bother about those little mackerels..... I understand they want to help, But their hearts are full of kelp… Anyway i love the poem by heart and soul, keep writing many more poems like these....10+++++ to the poetess a big high five!
