Merry-Go-Round Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Merry-Go-Round

Rating: 5.0

Should I walk ahead or
Stay here for a while
To watch those who are
In a hurry to go an extra mile

Should I wait and see
What they achieve at the end
Or follow them like a shadow
Or go with them hand in hand

Where is the end of the road
Where the one who laid it
Who picked me up to walk
Is he there waiting to meet

What if there is not an end
What effort of mine is full
Why should not I live as
I wish without any rule

Who guarantees me a prize
Is there any one at the end
What garb I will wear next
To live and follow the trend
