She's the reason that
Not all oversized mugs are microwave
Safe,
Glazed in affection
She could easily start
A fire with what you give her.
Most days she sits
Genuinely oversized
In comfort.
She makes everything that
Much better.
The way she talks, the way she
Smells.
She's the reason that
Not all oversized mugs are microwave
Safe,
She knows the difference in
How she feels and is comfortable
In her own skin.
She gives but not in excess.
An important lesson to remember
When things get cold.
She could easily start
A fire with what you give her.
Yet she gives second chances
To those who don't deserve it,
With the way she talks &
The way she smells.
Not everyone deserves your time
Or attention
She's the reason that
Not all oversized mugs are microwave
