M-idnight before new year
A-ims to fade into the old;
R-eaching its final second,
I-t ends shining like gold.
T-he midnight before new year
E-vades the next daybreak;
S-unday December thirty-first has no more chance to take.
C-old midnight before new year
H-as turned into warm dawn;
A-llowing the beacon to rise
V-ictoriously above the horizon.
E-arly December twenty-second, let the last evening appear;
Z-one of fireworks display is the midnight before new year.
