Misplaced - Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

looking in others' mouths
seeking words
dripping from loose tongues.
searching stranger faces
for syllabic droplets

eyes open
and shut
each individual melodic, rhythmic
un-satiated act, alters reality.
