Miss You 2 Poem by David Harris

Miss You 2

Rating: 5.0

I miss you every morning
now that you have gone.
I miss your sweet kisses
from your ruby red lips on mine
that raises the morning to divine.
I miss hearing your heartbeat
when you lay next to this body of mine.
I miss you every day
since you went away.
My world is just an empty shell
in which no one lives anymore.
You were my reason for living
with you gone I don’t have anymore.
I’d ask the angels to bring you back,
but I know that is impossible
as you lie in a lonely grave evermore.
I don’t know if I can carry on
without you in my life anymore.
I miss you so much my darling
and want you back once more.

A heart rending write David. Such sadness and poignancy within. It seems that you can write on any subject. I have thoroughly enjoyed reviewing your poems today. Pity to end on such a sad note Take Care and Best Regards Steve 10

It's hard to lose the great love of your life. Every day you keep living is sort of an accomplishment, all by itself.
