Mondays - Poem by David Harris

Mondays always seem longer
than any other day.
Time seems to drag its heels
always on a Monday.

A weekends disappears
almost without notice,
but Mondays, oh Mondays
just to seem to drag on and on.

We’d probably say the same
at any day that begins a working week.
However, it is Monday
that always seems so long.
