Moonlit Thought Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

Moonlit Thought

Rating: 3.7

Moonlight is boundless tonight.
Boundless it is,
Though few share the sight.

Thought is sealed anew
Not to unwrap,
Sounds of autumn taken flight.

Thousands miles away
Does the same moon shine?
On the windowsill here
Is a shadow of mine.

The dusty world makes many go astray,
To check the steps,
One may well pause, half-way.

Moonlight floats,
A mind to refresh;
Grains now gathered,
For me to thresh.

May the Lord with me sympathize,
Start a breeze for me and the wise.
