A smile is more than just a smile
It bears the essence of who you are
And sends a message far and wide
One's face beaming like a lit star.

A smile is more than just a smile.
Like an atlas hand, it lifts up
The soul that's burdened in this world,
And bearing such a bitter cup.

A smile is more than just a smile.
It is a medic in its right,
Repairing many broken wings
To fully gear up for the flight.

A smile is more than just a smile.
It is the hearth that burns so bright -
Keeping a chilly soul quite warm
With love and joy, and much delight.

A smile is more than just a smile.
A closer glance and you will see
The significance of a smile
Within the lives of you and me.

And so, may you smile more often.
Perhaps as often as you can,
Giving life to many others
On this cold, darkened-earthy plain.
