More Than To Behold Poem by Walterrean Salley

More Than To Behold

Rating: 4.8

Decked with majesty
And girded with might—
An awesome and
Unspeakable sight.
A burst of amber
Upon His throne,
He’s more than fair
To look upon.
Beset by a rainbow
Of varied hue
With breathless shades
Of heavenly blue—
The presence of
The God of old,
The human eye
Cannot behold.
Great is His power,
Mercy and love
In the earth beneath
And heavens above.
Let all of creation
Love, adore
And worship the Lord
Forever more.
