M-ore than just life itself,
E-arnestly fulfill our duty;
R-ight before the Lord's sight,
L-et's perform with integrity.
Y-our birth brings much mirth,
N-ight so lonely has gone;
D-ay twelve in May morn
A-ssures of the rising sun.
T-ruly more than life itself,
A-im to uphold our task divine;
G-ive it utmost priority,
U-sing either vile clime or fine.
B-ecause of its importance, we even deny our self-interest;
A-s long as we have the strength, we always do our best.
T-ruly so, for life is meaningful
O-nce we execute our function;
R-eal value of our life
R-elies on our obligation.
E-ven though trials come, put not our duty on the shelf;
S-how you know that it is more than just life itself.
