Most Precious Child Poem by Crystal Bradley

Most Precious Child

Rating: 5.0

Most precious child
How I love thee dearly.
Such a wondrous gift
God has bestowed upon me.
How do I prove that I am worthy?
How can I teach you all the
beauty of the world
without you being harmed
by all that is ugly?
I will protect you.
I will guide you
and give you my strength.
I will comfort and console
and cherish every moment.
I will teach you and try to reach you
through my words and deeds.
And walk with you through this adventure
that we call life.
I know that I will be proud
of the person you will become.
And my pride and my love will carry on
long after the last breath leaves my body,
long after my soul has gone home.
My beautiful, most precious child,
I will love thee long past eternity.

Unconditional love is truly experienced when you have your own child. I felt the love and saw my own children through your words.
