Mother Poem by Colette Dright

Mother

Mother you were always there to dress me, feed me, comb my hair
To laugh and play and walk with me
To come home tired, but still talk to me
You were there to watch me grow and in my heart, I love you so

Mother, you do all you can do and you are the one I look up to
You are my inspiration, you teach, encourage, nurture and love
I am blessed that you were chosen as my Mother
From my Heavenly Father above

Mother, you are the soul focus of my life, my strength comes from you
I like the way we laugh and talk and work our differences through
And I would like to let you know, you are better than the rest
For you mom are a special someone, you mom are the best

You haven't always had it easy, and at times it was so hard
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord
The fruit of the womb is a reward - Psalm 127 vs 3

I love you Mom,
